Our artisan Proper Sausages and award winning dry cured bacon are provided by Peter and Alison Themans of Wenlock Edge Farm. They use high quality ingredients and make their produce on their farm, just down the road.
We collect our eggs from Church Stretton on a Thursday when Clun Farm Eggs sell from their van on Market Day. They are free range eggs and come from a few miles away at Belmont, Clun, Craven Arms.
We are lucky to have a fantastic array of fruit and vegetables available on our Thursday market at Church Stretton thanks to Michelle and Billy D W Simmons Fruit and Veg stall who provide excellent quality fruit, tomatoes and mushrooms for our breakfasts.
Our guests often comment about the delicious fresh full cream milk from the Proper Good Dairy, Hatton Farm, just a couple of miles away. We are so lucky to have the dairy on our doorstep and can take our glass milk bottles to fill at their convenient milk vending machine. You also get to see the herd of cows in the distance!
In addition to our cooked breakfast we offer a good range of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, and fruit juice. You can round off your breakfast with toast, butter, marmalade and jam.
Home cooked evening meals with all dietary requirements can be provided with prior arrangement.
Please remember to bring your own wine or beer to accompany your evening meal.
